Heute stellt MOTU sein neuestes Audio-Interface vor: das MOTU 848.
Mit modernster Thunderbolt 4 / USB4-Technologie verbindet es sich mühelos mit Mac, PC oder iOS-Geräten und bietet dabei ultraschnelle, latenzarme Treiber.
60 Audio-Kanäle, 12x12 analoge Ein- und Ausgänge, vier extrem rauschfreie Mikrofon-Preamps mit +74 dB Gain und Hi-Z-Gitarreneingänge liefern erstklassige Aufnahmequalität.

Dank 64-Kanal-/32-Bus-Mixing und integrierter 32-Bit-Effekte wie Hall, EQ, Kompressor und Gate steht professionelles Mixing jederzeit zur Verfügung.
Über die CueMix Pro™ App lassen sich Signale intuitiv routen, während AVB-Netzwerktechnik und Daisy-Chaining grenzenlose Erweiterung ermöglichen.

Zusätzlich bietet das 848 Profi-Features wie fernsteuerbare Preamps, zwei unabhängige Kopfhörerausgänge, A/B/C-Monitorumschaltung, Talkback, Wordclock
und komfortable Wi-Fi-Steuerung per Smartphone oder Tablet.
Ein USB-C-Kabel für Thunderbolt/USB4 ist im Lieferumfang enthalten.
 

MOTU 848: Audiointerface mit Thunderbolt, USB und AVB

Das MOTU 848 unterstützt Thunderbolt 4, USB4, USB3 und USB.
ESS Sabre32 Ultra DACs versprechen exzellente Wandlerqualität und bieten bis zu 256 Audiokanäle (128 In / 128 Out).
Die class-compliant Firmware garantiert dabei volle Kompatibilität mit den gängigen Audio-Apps, Roundtrip-Latenzen liegen laut Hersteller bei unter 1,9 ms (96 kHz, 32 Samples).
Ein zweiter Thunderbolt-Port erlaubt zudem die Anbindung weiterer Peripherie wie Monitore, Festplatten oder Docks.

Frontpanel mit Komfortfunktionen

An der Vorderseite zeigt ein 3,9-Zoll Farbdisplay hochauflösendes Metering, das sich flexibel konfigurieren lässt.
Zwei Kopfhörerausgänge sind unabhängig voneinander regelbar und lassen sich auch individuell mit Quellen belegen – von analogen und digitalen I/Os bis hin zu Netzwerkkanälen.
Und auch den Mix-Bus kannst du dir hierüber inklusive einem zugehörigen Reverb anhören.

Die vier rückseitigen Mic-Preamps bieten 74 dB Gain, -20 dB Pad und natürlich auch 48V Phantomspeisung. Die Preamps lassen sich direkt oder auch per Software steuern, inklusive der Möglichkeit, die Phase umzukehren.
Außerdem bietet das Frontpanel am MOTU 848 Zugriff auf Funktionen wie Talkback, Monitor A/B/C-Auswahl, Mute und Mono-Summierung für flexibles Arbeiten im Studio.
