Prophet-6 Module
We feel that the immediacy of the Prophet-6 user interface is a huge part of its appeal, so the module has all the same controls as the keyboard version.
The only controls we’ve removed are those that are typically found on a controller keyboard: pitch and mod wheels, and keyboard transpose.
As with the Prophet-6 Keyboard, all parameters are at your fingertips all the time.
It is a performing musician’s and sound designer’s dream. We made no compromises and designed it to be practical to use and play, with full-sized knobs and switches and a comfortable, intuitive layout.
How does it sound? Exactly like the keyboard, because—on the inside—it’s exactly the same as the keyboard.
The same analog signal path with discrete VCOs and VCFs.
The same high-quality digital effects.
The same classic sound that has been earning raves from customers and reviewers alike.
We’ve also added a poly chain feature so that any two Prophet-6s can be paired for twelve-voice polyphony!

New Features in OS 1.6.7
• Support for MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression). This enables the Prophet-6 keyboard and module to respond to MPE-driven controllers such as the LinnStrument®, Expressive E Osmose®, and Roli Seaboard® series, to name just a few.
• Prophet-5 Rev 4-style “vintage” mode. This gives the Prophet-6 a looser, more organic sound that emulates the behavior of vintage synthesizers where the behavior of individual oscillators, filters, and envelopes often vary from voice to voice.
• Improved aftertouch curves for enhanced expressiveness when using the Prophet-6’s own keyboard.
